Pakistan dispatches 10th relief consignment for Palestine

ISLAMABAD, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) — Pakistan has dispatched its 10th relief consignment consisting of medical relief items for Palestine on Sunday, the country’s foreign office said in a statement here.
The relief consignment will arrive in Jordan for onward delivery to Palestine, the statement added.
According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) of Pakistan, the 10th relief consignment consists of 40 tons of essential medicines, aiming at providing medical support to the people of Gaza.
“This initiative underscores Pakistan’s commitment to supporting humanitarian causes and providing aid to those in need,” the NDMA said in a statement.
The NDMA, in collaboration with a Pakistani non-governmental organization, has sent a total relief of 1,151 tons for the people of Gaza, including the current consignment, the statement added. ■
